The Army Warrant Officer is a self-aware and adaptive technical expert, combat leader, trainer, and advisor. Through progressive levels of expertise in assignments, training, and education, the Warrant Officer administers, manages, maintains, operates, and integrates Army systems and equipment across the full spectrum of Army operations. Warrant Officers are innovative integrators of emerging technologies, dynamic teachers, confident war fighters, and developers of specialized teams of Soldiers. Right now, prior service applicants enjoy sign on bonuses up to $15,000.

When you join the Army National Guard under Active First, you begin your service with a period of Active Duty—aka, full-time military service. That not only means full-time Soldier's pay, but also a bonus of up to $60,000, depending on your length of commitment.

You'll train in one or more of 50 exciting careers that can prepare you for lucrative civilian positions. You'll travel across the U.S. or overseas. You'll have life-changing experiences and adventures. You'll become more confident than you ever thought possible.

When your Active Duty commitment is over, you'll return to standard part-time Guard service with your local unit. At that point, you'll be free to pursue a college education with the Guard's extensive education benefits.
